The House of Habanos (H-H) soft launch took place on Thursday at the Phakalane Mowana Mall as a way to give revellers an opportunity to enjoy good music, favourite drinks and delicious food.

The place that used to be Cigar Lounge is now revamped and has aesthetics that cannot go unnoticed. Just after the entrance is a lounge with an open balcony beautifully furnished. The couches and set-up give one the comfort they need while enjoying their outing and also having a breath of fresh air. In an interview with H-H managing director, Thapelo Koitsiwe, he pointed out that they want to turn it into an international space by hosting the most trending international and local acts. He explained that it was an all-in-one space, offering platinum entertainment and very delicious dishes from their menu.

He said H-H aesthetics gives a refreshing feeling while the open balcony gives you a feel of fresh air. He said the private lounge has a capacity of at least 50 people seating. It allows for private functions and offers a wide range of cigars, from Nubs, Asylum, Maduro and the best steak in town. “It is not only that, our menu is diverse. If you are a seafood, lover we got you covered as well. My favourite dish there is the coconut Rise, yummy if you ask me. We opened the doors of H-H last year at the same time as the Tounel Lounge.
