Hop Nyts event creates growth space for upcoming artists

In their bid to uplift the music industry to a higher level especially the Hip Hop genre, Notwane Lifestyle Club together with Mdu Tha Party have come up with an initiative to host a weekly event called Hop Nyts.

Mdu Tha Party, a presenter at local prominent radio station, RB2 revealed to Showtime Monitor that Hop Nyts is a weekly event that was conceptualised back in 2021 when COVID-19 started to subside.

He explained that the Hop Nyts events create an environment where artists can get to share ideas on how they can grow, develop and uplift each other. “This is where we get to showcase our talent in the Hip Hop space, that includes rappers, singers, poetry, dance, turntablism, art, fashion and many more of the things that go in accordance with the Hip Hop culture,” he said in an interview.
