Generations star to mentor local actors

FRANCISTOWN: Generations star Xoli Zondi and casting director Phophi Mlaudzi are expected in the country for a two-day workshop to be held in Francistown this Friday.

The workshop, to be hosted at TKM School’s Horizon campus, will begin on Saturday and end on Sunday giving local actors an opportunity to learn about the acting industry. Also actors will be exposed to opportunities both in Botswana and South Africa.

Tshepiso Tsheko, a former Botswood actress and now an extra in South Africa’s soapie, 7 de Laan, said Zondi and Mlaudzi will mentor local actors such that they have appreciation for the craft.
