Ferguson to host Gabz creative business luncheon

Film and television superstar, Connie Ferguson is set to visit Botswana on May 14 for a number of speaking and engagement efforts with stakeholders in the business and showbiz sector.

The multi-award winning actress and filmmaker will be addressing creatives along other invited guest speakers at the Phakalane Golf Estate. Ferguson will speak on the Business of Arts & Culture as a driver of economic growth, among other issues. "Connie Ferguson will be in Botswana to meet and engage with players in the business and arts and entertainment sector as part of a drive to explore opportunities and development through show business," said Thapelo Monageng. "We are looking forward to hosting Connie Ferguson and also do a meet and greet session with her fans in Botswana as a celebrated actress and businesswoman.

The event is meant to also inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and find ways to promote arts and culture."
