American photographer Lauren Rheims has likened Botswana’s teenage sensation Feine (Kenaleone Mosekiemang) to Barbadian songstress Rihanna and designed the album sleeve for her maiden single Coconut Fans free of charge.

Rheims heard Feine’s song online and immediately posted comments praising the 17-year-old Moeding student.

He told Showbiz this week that the youngster has ‘extraordinary musical talent’ hence the decision to do a bright and colourful album cover for free. “I like Feine because she is a power house sound and has extraordinary musical talent. She is great at expressing herself in her songs and has a presence that can captivate any audience. She is a true talent.  I thought an artist as captivating as she deserved a bright and brilliant cover that would truly represent her vibrant style and attitude that she works so hard to put into her work,” Rheims said. Her management company, Ampprez Productions, said the music starlet is an uncut diamond. “She needs to be nurtured.  We know she is going international. At 17, her vocals are so on point. This shows Botswana can produce electro musicians,” said Rheims.
