Diversity At Mophato Auditions

A variety of dance acts were displayed during the Mophato Dance Theatre auditions, held at Stanbic Bank Piazza on Saturday. Every year, Mophato Dance Theatre takes in interns for their dance development programme.

Close to 35 dancers auditioned. The dancers showcased their skill doing different dance styles such as kwaito, pantsula, dancehall, sbujwa and urban.

Unlike regular auditions where dancers are asked to exhibit their personal dance routines, they were taught contemporary moves, and also asked to display their personal dance routines.
