Botswana's creative industry is set for a major milestone with the launch of the inaugural Creators Assembly, a three-day creative industry summit designed to equip, connect and inspire the country's next generation of creative entrepreneurs. Held under the theme, "Creativity: The New Currency," the summit will take place from August 19–21 at the Grand Aria Hotel.

It will bring together Botswana's emerging creatives with some of Southern Africa's most respected industry leaders across music, film, dance, fashion, visual arts, beauty, and other creative disciplines.

The initiative is spearheaded by award-winning singer-songwriter Han-C, who said the idea was born from conversations within Botswana's music industry about the need for greater collaboration and sustainable growth.
