Celebrities support unemployed youth movement

With the nation reeling in shock from the alleged police violence that occurred in front of Parliament on Monday, celebrities and brand ambassadors have joined the bandwagon to condemn the brutality.

Botswana Police Service and government were accused of turning violent on ‘peaceful’ demonstrators, who were mostly youth.

The youth movement took to Parliament on Monday to grab the attention of legislators disembarking from their vehicles on the high rate of unemployment graduates. They held placards outside Parliament demonstrating their disappointment with the leadership.
