Myself: A True Life Story – A Nostalgic Recollection is an inspiring and deeply reflective memoir that chronicles Lefoko Molebatsi’s remarkable journey from the cattle-post of Dimonyane to becoming a distinguished scholar, political activist and doctoral candidate at the University of Botswana (UB).

More than a personal autobiography, the book serves as a powerful meditation on perseverance, education, leadership and the enduring belief that one’s circumstances need not define one’s destiny.

The memoir is written around three compelling themes. The first is the democratisation of excellence. Molebatsi challenges the widely held assumption that academic success is reserved for those born into privilege or educated in elite institutions.
