BW's finest goes in search of Sekoti

A group of local photographers under the name ‘BW’s Finest’ is embarking on a mission to Savuti in the Chobe National Park to find the celebrity lion called Sekoti.

The group comprises ten members including photographers Joe Misika, Karabo Moilwa, Mabedi Letsholo, Brains Monekwe, Oteng Lekgowe, Kevin Groth, Isaac Lesole, and Yusha Kenaope. Mmegi’s intrepid photojournalist Thalefang Charles, who broke the story about Sekoti will also be part of the trip.

Sekoti is a young lion from the famous Savuti Marsh pride that shot to fame from Mmegi tales about its life story. The trip is expected to last five days and will  start in Kasane on May 24, 2021, with activation by the new Kazungula Bridge.
