In what has turned out to be a broken promise, Miss Botswana 2021/22 Palesa Molefe will no longer get to own a Mercedes Benz C200 as announced during the sponsorship launch in August.

Miss Botswana organisers revealed a few months ago that this year’s queen will walk away with a Mercedes Benz C200 courtesy of new car dealer, Magariland. But now instead of owning the car Molefe will get a car sponsorship from Magariland which will transport her during her entire reign. After her reign she will return the Golf 7 Tsi she is currently using to the car dealer.

During a sponsorship handover yesterday, the organisers announced that besides the car sponsorship, Molefe will walk away with a cash prize of P100,000 divided into P50,000 cash and P50 000 worth of monthly benefits.

Molefe will also get a free housing during her entire reign. Molefe, who is heading to Puerto Rico tomorrow, will also get P25,000 worth of jewellery at Delmas Jewellery.

The bald beauty queen will also get a premium membership at Jack’s Gym for her entire reign, white label gift voucher (monthly scents), a hair sponsorship at The Makeover Place, yoga and spa treatment, dental care from Dental Suites, spa services from Fifi Fab and physio care from Ketshidile Physio Clinic.
