Bongo Maffin Show Fails To Meet Expectations

The last Mascom Live Sessions featured two of the best talents in South African afro-pop group Bongo Maffin and local sensation Motlha. However, the show failed to ignite the spark as expected.

The stage was set for an entertaining night at another sold-out show, but the performers failed to produce the deeds on the other end.

Motlha opened the show for the South African group.  Although the Mmamotse hitmaker is a fan favourite, his performance fell short of convincing as he spent most of the time talking than singing.  A superstar in the making, but his Friday evening performance was not what he promised it to be.  A lot was expected from the young man whose rise to stardom has been sharp, but unfortunately the Botswanacraft Market proved ‘too big’ for him.
