Bomme takes Nono and Punah a notch up

Puna Gabasiane and Nono Siile need no introduction to jazz and music in general. They are some of the most prominent female jazz musicians locally and their collaboration, as Bomme should excite their followers.

The two have a wealth of experience to put them in good stead as they prepare to conquer the airwaves in their first studio collaboration.Gabasiane recorded her first album in 1999 and although Siile debuted a lot later, she has been Gabasiane's back up singer and dancer for so many years. The two have six albums between themselves.

Her most popular song to date has been Nthekele ring, a song to encourage unmarried couples to commit to marriage and seal the union. The duo's first single called Re tsetswe jalo is out and it perhaps offers fans an insight into what to expect in future projects.Gabasiane pointed out that the collaboration would not, however, dent their chances as individual recording musicians in any way.
