When nature becomes merciless

FRANCISTOWN: When violent nature like athunderstorm hits it has no mercy.

 It does not spare anyone, not even the poor, the sick, thehandicapped, the orphaned nor the elderly. Despite their misery these are the people who suffer most whenthe storm strikes.

That is exactly what happened when a thunderstorm struck last week. It ripped awayroofs of the houses of the poor and soaked their food. Some of the families affected will find itdifficult to re-roof their houses as they lost nearly everything in the violent storm. It is often heart-rending to see these peoples' living conditions being worsened.
