Tupperware Revolutionises Women's Lives

There is no kitchen that I know of that is not home to Tupperware. You find it in Mopipi, D'kar and Khwee.

Tupperware has changed the life of self-taught saleswoman, Brownie Wise, a young mother and divorcee in Detroit, who made it the brand that it is today. The plastic kitchenware has transformed thousands of women's lives across the globe. It has changed the life of 27-year-old saleswoman Happy Amon who fell in love with the brand in February 2007. When hitchhiking to Thebephatshwa camp, a woman gave her a Tupperware brochure when she dropped off. Besides the 30 percent commission that she would be entitled to for every product sold, the real magnetic force came when she found out that there were prospects of driving a company sponsored car.

Later she learnt this is a privilege for managers. A student at the University of Botswana by then, she was motivated to sell as much as she could and recruit many sales people to qualify as a manager and ultimately drive the car.
