Veteran broadcaster Sakaeyo Jannie's voice is familiar to many, as he initially became known as a sports commentator especially during football matches.

Jannie was born and bred in Serowe where he did his schooling up to secondary level. After completing his Cambridge, he moved to Gaborone and recalls that when he was a student at Swaneng Hill School they always listened to Radio Botswana especially when it came to match commentating.
