Please note that review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.CHIEF SURVEYORBASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:The Chief Surveyor will be responsible for delivering all survey requirements to the underground mining and surface operations, ensuring production survey plans are updated and executed according to short and medium-term production planning requests to achieve the mine’s short-term targetsCORE DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE: Coordinating all survey activities within the mine operationEstablishing surveying procedures and managing survey systems and data to ensure mine production requirements are delivered to agreed standards and timelinesCompiling month end production figures for purposes of reconciliationManaging surface survey infrastructure and equipmentCompleting all surface related survey requirementsManaging systems for the layout and maintenance of survey reference marks both on the surface and underground, for the control of drilling, development, services and production activitiesMonitoring mine surveying systems and performance measures and formulating alternatives and improvements to systems and methodsManaging the survey requirements for declines, roadways, stopes, buildings, stockpiles waste dumps and all related infrastructure both on surface and undergroundAdhering to and improving procedures and practices for survey data collectionAssuming accountability of all survey measurements in all departmentsEnsuring survey data is compiled into correct formats and grid reference systemsConducting spot checks and regular audits to ensure data accuracyEnsuring data is appropriately and safely stored in databases and filing systems; and Providing as-built surveys for all excavations and infrastructure.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:Bachelor’s degree in Mine Surveying or equivalentMinimum 15 years mine surveying experience, with experience in senior survey roles in underground mine surveyingAt least 5 years’ experience with fully mechanized sub level open stopping essential, experience with backfilling operations desirable Surface survey experience essential including the surveying of services and stockpile surveyingExperience managing underground mining contractors and producing payment related quantity survey reportsExperience with producing plans and sections for various governmental stakeholdersSurvey project experience is desirable, i.e. decline re-traversesDemonstrated ability to lead and manage surveyor groups and liaising with stakeholders Advance track record in the use of mine survey software Have a thorough knowledge of statutory survey requirements, including for local, regional, and national governmental bodies2) PROCUREMENT SUPERINTENDENTBASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:The Procurement Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring that all procurement-related activities within the Project comply with procurement policies, procedures, and governance requirements. This is essential for maintaining efficient and effective supply chain practices that align with business objectives and functional requirementsCORE DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:Preparing the overall procurement strategy.Implementing the MMG-Khoemacau Supply Chain Policies and Processes – Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Managing the complete procurement life cycle end-to-end. Ensuring all sourcing activities support the achievement of the project strategic objectives. Planning procurement activities and preparing procurement operating plan.Providing guidance on current project related industry insights, contract technical, commercial, strategic and functional direction related to all aspects of contracting, including vendor selection and registration, contract award, Developing, managing, integrating and tracking of the Procurement Operating Plan.Liaising and facilitating initiatives and frameworks. Reviewing and signing off purchase orders and change orders. Detailing logistics and expediting approach and requirements and ensuring lead times and deliverables are met. Ensuring services are delivered on time at the right cost. Managing Close-Out of ContractsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:Degree in Purchasing / Supply ChainMinimum of 10+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering and design 5+ years’ experience with executing and supporting medium to large projects3) INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/OPERATIONS TECHNOLOGY (IT/OT) LEADBASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:The IT&OT Lead will be responsible for overseeing the IT operations within all MMG-Khoemacau sites, ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of technology systems. Demonstrating proven experience to ensure timely service delivery that aligns with lead times and budget targets.Offering functional and technical direction to the procurement team, drawing on cross-project leadership and industry insight to guide execution and decision-making.Delivering project duties with integrity and alignment to company policies and ethical standards.Maintaining awareness of business dynamics and contribute to strategic partnerships and corporate governance.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE: Bachelor’s degree in legal, commercial or supply chain qualification.10+ years’ related experience, with previous Africa mining experience.5+ years’ management experience of leading teams and having direct reports.Previous training and strong knowledge of sourcing; procurement and contract formation, development/ execution.5) SITE PLANNERBASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:The Site Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining the integrated mine and infrastructure plans that support safe, efficient, and cost-effective extraction of mineral resources, while ensuring alignment with operational and strategic objectivesCORE DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:Embedding safety, environmental, and community impact controls into mine and infrastructure designs, ensuring early-stage alignment with regulatory standards and sustainability goals.Developing and maintaining short-, medium-, and long-term plans incorporating operational infrastructure, scheduling, and production targets.Collaborating with geology, engineering, and environmental teams to ensure plans are accurate, compliant, and practical for execution.Designing and refining haul roads, stockpiles, waste dumps, and support structures to maximise efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.Utilising tools such as Deswik, MineSched, or Xpac to update models, simulate plans, and monitor operational scenarios.Contributing to project feasibility studies and infrastructure proposals with technical inputs related to layouts, access, and resource logistics.Ensuring all planning activities meet legal, safety, and environmental standards, including risk assessments and control measures.Providing technical guidance on budget planning, scheduling parameters, and optimal resource allocation.Coordinating design deliverables and development strategies across engineering disciplines and project teams.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE: Degree in mining engineering, civil engineering, or related field.Knowledge of SHEC (Safety, Health, Environment, and Community) principles.Minimum 5 years’ experience in site or construction planning.6) RISK AND REPORTING OFFICER BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:The Risk and Reporting Officer will be responsible for providing risk and other relevant reports support to implementation projects, provide comprehensive risk monitoring for the expansion project, ensure that key operational, financial, compliance, and strategic risks are effectively documented, communicated, and escalated as well as lead the preparation of key internal and external reports.CORE DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE: Assisting in maintaining and enhancing the company’s risk management framework, policies, and procedures. Conducting regular risk assessments and supporting departments in identifying, evaluating, and documenting potential risks. Monitoring key risk indicators (KRIs) and ensuring timely escalation of emerging risks or issues. Supporting, reporting, including investigation follow-up and tracking of corrective actions. Coordinating the collection, verification, and consolidation of operational, financial, safety, risk, and project performance data from all departments. Reviewing departmental submissions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with corporate reporting standards. Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all data included in reports. Preparing project performance reports, including progress updates, milestone achievements, variances, challenges, and mitigation actions. Maintaining the reporting calendar and ensuring that all monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports are delivered on schedule. Facilitating reporting-related meetings and follow up on agreed action itemsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:Recognised tertiary qualification (degree / diploma) and registration with Professional Council and/or regulatory body (recommended). Minimum 5years’ experience in risk management, corporate reporting, compliance, auditing, or related functions. Experience preparing reports for senior leadership, Board, or executive committees. Experience consolidating multi-department data in large organisations or project environments (mining, construction, industrial preferred).
