VACANCY Job Title: Maintenance Manager – Farming OperationsLocation: MolepololeEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance activities for a busy farming operation. This role requires a practical individual with strong electrical and mechanical skills, as well as a solid understanding of farm vehicles, machinery, and implements. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and managing preventative and routine maintenance programs, while supervising maintenance staff to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and manage preventative and routine maintenance programs for all farm equipment, vehicles, and infrastructure.Oversee maintenance and repairs of tractors, vehicles, irrigation systems, pumps, and farm implements.Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and coordinate timely repairs.Supervise and manage maintenance personnel, including task allocation, training, and performance monitoring.Maintain maintenance records, schedules, and parts inventories.Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime during critical farming periods.Coordinate with farm management to plan maintenance activities around operational schedules.Ensure compliance with safety standards and best maintenance practices.RequirementsProven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, preferably within a farming or agricultural environment.Strong knowledge of farm machinery, vehicles, and agricultural implements.Experience establishing and managing preventative maintenance systems.Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise maintenance staff.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Good organizational and record-keeping abilities.Ability to work independently and take initiative.An electrical qualification is a minimum requirement.What We OfferCompetitive remuneration based on experienceOpportunity to work in a dynamic agricultural environmentLong-term career opportunity within a growing farming operationHow to ApplyInterested candidates should submit their CV and a brief cover letter to:
