Stanbic Launches Mobile Banking Branch

Stanbic Bank has introduced a first in the country, a fully equipped movable branch to accord their clients convenience and accessibility to banking services. The mobile branch comes as part of the bank’s drive to allow easy accessibility and convenience to banking services, whilst allowing for greater financial inclusion and customer experience.

Speaking during the launch, the bank’s head of customer channels, Calistas Chijoro said that the mobile branch came after the realisation that it could be used as a fully operational branch as it has all the features that any other branch has.

“The mobile branch will provide the bank with business continuity capability as well as to exhibit the bank’s products and services at national events such as trade shows and various exhibitions,” he said.
