Stanbic, BONU Foster Nurses' Financial Stability

Stanbic Bank has partnered with Botswana Nurses Union (BONU), a move aimed at fostering long-term financial stability and empowerment of nurses in the country.

Some of the benefits of the partnership include joint financial literacy workshops, home loans services through Ikagele Scheme, vehicle and asset financing, unsecured personal loans, embedded savings schemes, executive banking services, unique and personalised solutions, employer value banking consultations, financial fitness programmes as well as a wide range of solutions that are cost-effective and convenient.

Commenting on the issue, Stanbic’s chief executive officer (CEO) Samuel Minta said through the partnership they seek to empower all members of BONU with financial services that they can use to build their own legacies and improve their lives, thus, better enabling them to leverage capabilities to make their dreams come true. “It is our goal to champion an effective and sustainable financial services support environment in the country through partnerships such as this.
