Pilane says Orange wants to bring financial services closer to Botswana

The Orange Money Visa Card that has been used locally solely to swipe and conduct transactions can now be used globally, Orange Botswana has announced.

This development follows impressive growth and performance of the Orange Money Visa Card, which accounted for 24% of the debit cards in the country.

Speaking during the launch this week, Orange Money director, Seabelo Pilane said they have decided to make the card a Visa as part of their endeavour to promote financial inclusion and make it convenient for their customers travelling outside the country.
