ORAPA: The Botswana Confederation of Commerce, Industry and Manpower (BOCCIM) CEO, Maria Machailo-Ellis, has pledged her personal support for Small and Medium Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) participating in the ‘Orapa today Boteti tomorrow’ project.

“While the organisation that I serve, BOCCIM, is responsible for policy dialogue with the government to promote a conducive business environment that allows the private sector to grow and contribute to economic development in Botswana, I have a passion for SMMEs and entrepreneurship development.

“With that, I would like to pledge my support for these particular initiatives, mainly SMMEs. I will personally assist them with ideas to grow their ventures,” she said when officiating at the annual Debswana’s Orapa, Letlhakane and Damtshaa Mines (OLDM) General Manager’s sponsored charity walk in Orapa on Saturday.
