Paint manufacturer, Dulux has introduced a new range of painting products into the local market. The Dulux Botswana team launched the fresh products in Gaborone yesterday while they also unveiled improvements to existing products.

The company has also revamped its packaging, which has more detail on  the description of the paint products.

“As a result of changes in the market and competition, our research and marketing team worked on new and innovative products so that we are not left behind and also strengthen our portfolio,” said Dulux Botswana general manager, Wellington Murambiwa.

He said advanced technological methods used on the products have made Dulux paints to have more strength and quality compared to the previous ones.

One notable product from the launch is the Hammerite paint that is mainly applied on industrial materials. It can be applied on all kinds of metal and dries faster in a shot period of time.

They have also introduced eco-friendly paint products called Ecosure, said Murambiwa. “They have low (Volatile Organic Compounds) VOCs, they meet all features required when we are talking of sustainability”.

Last year Dulux won the Best Buy Award after research was done to find out, which is the best interior wall paint in the country.

“Winning this award simply shows us that our products have brought about a lot of impact,” added Murambiwa.
