BMC Opens Office In Molepolole

Botswana Meat Commission (BMC) will on Thursday start a roll out of its countryside offices around the country with the opening of an office in Molepolole.

The Kweneng area alone is said to have a population head of over 200, 000 cattle with most of the farmers preferring to sell their cattle to butcheries where they fetch a better price, compared to BMC abattoirs.


The Minister of Agriculture Johnnie Swarts is expected to officially open the office. Other field offices are expected in major centres, including Serowe.
