He would later spoil tens of musicians and journalists with some delicious full lunch, as if to live up to the brand name, Vee. He wants it to be associated with nothing but greatness. In fact it was revealed at the pre-launch event that the video for the song Shapa-Low, had to be done over and over until it lived up to the Vee expectations.
Scooby, the film maker who did the video told the gathering at the pre-launch event that Vee threatened to re-shoot the whole thing if the film maker could not come up with a better plan for the end product.He describes Vee as a very difficult man during the production of the film. Cross Roads, it seems is more than just a name for the album. Vee has added five old songs, to his eight for the new album. He says his fans felt the album was coming out rather too early so he decided to add songs from the last album as a bonus. He also says he failed to market the old album well hence the repetition.It is Cross Roads because Vee is actually saying goodbye to his traditional house-kwasa flavour.
