He has an energy about him that is so refreshing and irresistibly contagious that one cannot help but catch his special dose of 'happy' when they are around him. Indeed, Thobo Kerekang otherwise famously known, as Ruxion is the true epitome of the saying dynamite comes in small packages.

At just 26 years of age, this young man from Lobatse is  one of the most recognisable faces in the local entertainment industry today.  He is easy to talk to, with a calm strength a lot of his peers lack. Kerekang describes himself during his childhood days as that kid who grew up very inquisitive and driven. He said:  " I used to ask a lot of questions as a kid; so much so that at times it was irritating. And I remember that I used to be very talkative, I suppose I always had that lawyer instinct in me from a very young age," he says

Ruxion first made his appearance on the entertainment scene when he was 15 years old when he joined the talent search show called Sprite Rap Activity Jam. He made it to the top five of the best rappers. "My love for music has always been there since I got rapping skills through my cousin Kabo Kerekang who is the president of Empire Records.  Through him, I discovered that I have a strong passion for music and the competition proved just that," he said with a smile.
