Swindled Manto 7 finds solace in Shakawe

Kwasa kwasa musician, Chris Manto 7 who lost P50, 000 to a conman he thought was his friend, has decided to take matters into his hands because "the police aren't" taking him seriously.

The musician has decided to vent his feelings through his latest album titled, Shakawe in which he talks about how difficult it is nowadays to trust anyone including the police because "they too are corrupt".  Chris Manto 7 said he hopes to take the matter further by reporting it to President Ian Khama because he believes he is the only person who can assist him.

Chris Manto 7 lost P50, 000 to a mechanic whom he thought was a friend three years ago.  He said the transaction was so swift he never knew what hit him.  "A mechanic I used to interact with in the past asked to use my bank to deposit a P50, 000 cheque and the next thing I knew my bank was overdrawn by P15, 000," he said.
