Ramonyaku headed for Malaysia again

When he was still with Ditshimega, Arnold Sekgee, better known as Ramonyaku to legion of fans throughout the country, was not regarded as one of the country's top performers as his band struggled to convince local followers of their quality yet he managed to get external recognition.


He continues to enjoy the international limelight and will be participating in the same event next month .Sekgee led Ditshimega to exhibit Tswana traditional music and dance skills at the 2008 Borneo Cultural festival in East Malaysia.

The festival is an annual cultural event featuring indigenous cultures but often individuals and groups from other cultures outside the Asian country are invited to take part.He did not attend the same event in 2010 because of financial constraints.  Ramonyaku, who is best remembered for his role in the Triple R's Banyana Ba ko Malotwaneng, recently released his solo Letlotla la ga Khama hit and looks destined to shake the industry as asolo act. "I am hopeful that this time around I will be able to make enough and that individuals and companies will be willing to sponsor my trip.
