Nnunu launches debut jazz album

The Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC) was packed with people from all different walks of life on Saturday, when the last of the three women of jazz women, Nnunu Ramogotsi finally released her long awaited album. What better way for her to celebrate her 35th birth.

Her  album, 'Mmasonoko', is already creating waves and receiving rave reviews.  The night, which attracted the crme-de-la-cream of the city, not forgetting other local jazz artistes and loyal fans, was indeed electrifying.

Nnunu has become synonymous with soulful music. She has come of age an her soothing lyrics celebrate culture and appeals to different listeners, irrespective of age and creed. The curtain raiser for the show wwas South Africa's most loved and respected artist, who is also a lecturer at University of South Africa (UNISA) Steve Kekana.
