Music lovers treated to a wonderful night

Music lovers were treated to a fine live performance at Botswanacraft on Friday night. Winter was no hindrance as the phenomenal live music by Diskord alongside the bonfire that revellers enjoyed chased the chill away.

With quite a phenomenal line up of live music in Eugene Jackson - with a too fine vocal aptitude to be ignored, pop sensation Helen Dikobe and rapper-cum-radio personality Scar aka Thato Matlhabaphiri, music fanatics could only ask for more.

The bonfire concept came in handy as the chilly Friday show, which started way after the said time took revellers back to the village where entertainment around the fire formed a crucial part of the society's performing arts. It is in the lolwapa and around the fire where dances were performed, folksongs and tales told and great orators born.
