Kwaito star Motlhagodi ready to conque

Growing up in Gaborone, Lerala born kwaito newcomer Lesego Motlhagodi who goes by the stage name Naisy Boy idolised legends such as Arthur Mafokate and today he is not only ready to follow in their footsteps but to conquer.

The rising star whose single Amanikiniki conquered the local music charts in 2008 says fans are yet to see the best of him."I used to be a dancer in school talent shows (at Maikano Junior Secondary School). At the time I had no ambitions of taking music as a career; I just enjoyed the little I got from friends who cheered me," Naisy Boy told Showbiz.His live performances are passion filled as if to convince himself that he was destined to be a first class entertainer.

Since he started in 2008, Naizy Boy has grown in confidence and now feels he is ready to conquer the world of music."I know there are numerous challenges now more than there were some years back with the shifting of focus to some new sounds which seem to be diverting fans' attention from kwaito music, but I believe I can prevail," he said. Naisy Boy's career kicked off in appalling fashion.
