Actor and youth leader Kitso Masi says that he is determined to empower the youth of Botswana in the battle against HIV/AIDS. Speaking in an interview with Showbiz, Masi said he had learnt a lot from the Pan-African reality show, Imagine Africa in which he partook in twice.

"I want to encourage Batswana, especially young people to take the lead in the fight against HIV/AIDS," said Masi who is one of the founding members of the South East District Youth Empowerment Association in Ramotswa.  He said that he developed 'personally and professionally' during his travels while still with Imagine Africa and that he is willing to share that wealth of knowledge with other young people in the country to help them combat HIV/AIDS.

The artist revealed to Showbiz that his organisation is busy developing a television series moulded after the concept of Imagine Africa.  "We are currently working on the idea and the conceptual name is 'Making Your Move', which might change by the time we flight the series.  The main focus of the show will be combating HIV/AIDS more especially among the young people in the country," said the 29-year-old from Ramotswa.Masi further pointed out that he is the right person to spearhead the project as he garnered a lot of support during his stint on Imagine Africa.  When he first joined the show in 2008, he was just a participant but he returned the following year as a reporter on the same show.
