Arts & Culture takes a peep into the New Year to predict what might be in store for the nation, as far as entertainment, arts and culture is concerned.

Despite the stringent alcohol levy, the entertainment industry is thriving in Botswana. Perhaps it is worth mentioning to note that there is a new trend in the entertainment industry which has seen a good number of DJs and artists recording house albums. Certainly Batswana artists have started to brew their own brand of house music and only time will tell if house music will thrive in this country.

The year 2010 saw Kgotla 'Juju Boy' Ntsima igniting local stages with his hit songs from the album One Man Rock Band and together with his trendy styles, became an instant celebrity in the country. This artist who has told Arts & Culture that he intends to be a brand is likely to return with another engaging record.
