C-Real, Modenine for Marked Men EP

Former Channel O Sprite Emcee Africa winner, C-Real (Cyril-Alex Gockel), and Nigeria's Segun Babtunde, popularly known as Modenine are set to collaborate with award-winning rapper Game 'Zeus' Bantsi and Chub Heightz (Kopano Coangae) for Marked Men's maiden EP.

The budding Hip Hop label Marked Men is working on a collective debut EP titled C.O.D.E and will use it to introduce its rookie artists Vaughan 'VH' Mutambara, Othata 'Mak' Mokgwati, Kabo 'Chris Kimms' Moji and Duma 'F1' Setlhare. Chub Heightz, the most popular member of Marked Men, said the idea was to introduce the label members to the industry. The EP will be sold on their website www.markedmeninc.com.

"We want to introduce all the stable members from production side to the artists," Chub Heightz told Showbiz.  He added that the rookie musicians were under Marked Men's artist development.  "The one person who will be dropping his own music after me is VH.  But this is basically to introduce ourselves as a whole label to the industry so that people know there is more than just me.  When they see them later they will know where they know them from," he explained.  But it is the presence of the Ghanaian and Nigerian artists that spices up the project. The Ghanaian emcee, C-Real, has spent quite some time honing his skills and connecting with his fan-base across Africa.Modenine is considered one of Africa's greatest rappers, with over four albums, five mixtapes and numerous awards to his name.
