FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) has lost one member as a result of disputes surrounding the Francistown South parliamentary and council primaries.

Moagi Monyatsi, who was a council candidate at the recently held primary elections reportedly ditched the party because he is of the view that the primaries were marred by irregularities. He contested and lost the primaries at Somerset East.

Although Monyatsi would not be reached for comment for the better part of yesterday a high ranking BDP official yesterday confirmed his departure from the ruling party.
