Mamelodi's case has been moved to October 5

The case in which the Botswana Premier League (BPL) board wants to be joint respondents in a case against chief executive officer (CEO), Bennett Mamelodi has been moved to October 5. The BPL board suspended Mamelodi on allegations of misconduct, but he challenged the suspension before the Industrial Court.

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) who are cited as the respondents in Mamelodi’s application has since reinstated him. However, the BPL board through their lawyer, Lore Morapedi applied to the court to be joined in the proceedings alongside the mother body, BFA.

Yesterday Mamelodi’s lawyer, Dutch Leburu asked the court for the matter to be moved since they intend to file another application regarding allegations contained in some documents they received from lawyers representing the BPL board.
