Moswaane encourages mob justice

FRANCISTOWN: Member of Parliament for Francistown West, Ignatius Moswaane has encouraged Monarch residents to take the law into their own hands and ‘discipline’ criminals. Moswaane said this when addressing a kgotla meeting here, recently.

While in Botswana it is considered a serious crime to take the law in to your own hands, Moswaane believes that it is the right way to discipline criminals who continue to terrorise communities.

The disgruntled MP alluded that many criminals go unpunished or when charged with a crime, they only serve one to two months behind bars and are left to work the streets freely to commit more crimes.
