FRANCISTOWN: Two of the Botswana Democratic Party’s darlings in Francistown West, Raoboy Mpuang and Ignatius Moswaane have buried the hatchet from a tiff they engaged in last year which at some point threatened to turn ugly.

Monarch East councillor, Mpuang and the constituency’s parliamentary candidate, Moswaane, were at each other’s throat during the run-up to the party’s primary elections as they both fancied themselves Francistown West parliamentary candidates. Moswaane is the former Monarch West councillor.

However, at Moswaane’s weekend launch, Mpuang openly embraced his former rival and promised his full support in order to win the constituency.
