America: US quits 'biased' UN human rights council

The "hypocritical and self-serving" body "makes a mockery of human rights", said US envoy to the UN Nikki Haley.
Formed in 2006, the Geneva-based council has been criticised for allowing countries with questionable human rights records to be members.
Acting Agriculture Minister, Edwin Dikoloti, is right in saying opening an export-ready facility whilst Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) is still spreading would risk getting the whole country blacklisted before a single carcass leaves the door.A ban like that would break the already stressed nation.
