Mochudi Centre Chiefs

The club was formed back in 1972 and is dubbed ‘Magosi, Maaparankwe’, the nickname coming from the word ‘Chiefs’. It was formed by some Mochudi elders who schooled at Lady Mitchison Primary School.

 

The school was named after a missionary woman who was in Botswana and in a bid to commercialize the team, they engaged a company called Ribbon Investments comprising of the Jamal family 60%, Mclean Letshwiti 20% and 10 %Ernest Molome. The Trust owns the other 10%.
