First Division North League log leaders, Tsabotlhe FC suffered a minor knock over the weekend, allowing Santa Green to close in with the title race getting more and more interesting.

Tsabotlhe lost 2-1 to Motlakase Power Dynamos on Saturday. The defeat, however ,still left them sitting at the summit of the league table, but now on equal number of points as Santa Green who are sitting closely at position two. With three rounds of matches to play, the log leaders face a tricky situation with Santa Green having a game in hand. Santa Green on Saturday registered a hard fought 3-2 victory over Eleven Angels. If they win their game in hand, they will move to the top of the log and open a three-point lead.

The outcome of the game, which was to feature Sankoyo Bush Bucks has not been released after the Maun-based side failed to honour the match. In the remaining matches, Tsabotlhe are still to play Peace Makers away, Makungulupeswa at home and wrap up their campaign against Mbalakalungu away. Both Peace Makers and Mbalakalungu have been struggling this season with the former currently sitting at position 11 with 18 points. Mbalakalungu are 10th on the log with 20 points. However, against Makungulupeswa, Tsabotlhe face a side that has the potential to ruin what earlier looked like a successful season.
