Systems are enduring one of their worst campaigns in recent years as they find themselves hovering just a point above the relegation spot. The team has won only twice in the last 10 games and it has just three victories with 16 rounds of the FNB Premiership games played. The latest of the defeats was against Township Rollers in a 1-0 loss last Sunday. This is despite the team having equal chances as Rollers, in some moments of the game, and being unlucky not to get anything from the tie. Botlhasitse is of the view that the team has been playing well despite poor form and what is lacking is a goalscorer. He said the team was in full hunt for a striker before yesterday's transfer window deadline. He said the team has been working on finishing for a while now and it is still a mystery why his striking force is still misfiring.
The head coach revealed that the performances during training are well below what he sees during match days. He, however, lauded the team's build-up play. "I would be lying if I said I am happy (with the squad). As you can see, we need someone who can put the ball in. We are trying to look (for a striker) but this window is very funny, very difficult (to find) a striker who can come in and make an impact, but we are hoping that before the window closes we will have that striker," Botlhasitse said after the weekend's loss.
