For luxury fashion designer Koki Chiepe, heritage is not something to be locked away behind museum glass. It is something to be worn, experienced and reimagined for every generation.

That philosophy came to life through Heritage Reimagined: Living Archives, an exhibition that transformed the National Museum into a vibrant celebration of Botswana's landscapes, culture and craftsmanship, inviting visitors to see fashion as more than clothing, but as a living archive of identity.

At the heart of the exhibition was a simple yet powerful message: Botswana's heritage is not static. It evolves with its people.
