After successfully delivering the first edition of the Archein Hardware Independence softball tournament last year, the Botswana Softball Association (BSA) and Archein Hardware have returned with the second edition.

The sponsorship of P200,000 which is a decrease from P250, 000 from the previous edition, was launched on Friday. The tournament will be held during the Independence holidays at the National Diamond.

The women’s defending champions are Police IX while the men’s side champions are BDF IX. Each zone (North and South) will have its own eliminations. The BSA president, Katlholo Mosimanegape said despite Archein Hardware sponsorship decline, they have received P50,000 from Botswana Softball Masters Association (BOSMA).
