BDF men out to revenge for women’s side

The last leg of the Selebi-Phikwe Softball Extravaganza gets underway tonight at the National Diamond with the men's side battling to book slots in the finals scheduled for the President's Day holiday. BDF men are one side that has a lot to fight for, as they will be pushing to bring back pride into the camp after the women’s side was eliminated last weekend.

The team’s coach, Tebogo Makaćana, told MmegiSport that the women's side did not do well, and it is the men's responsibility to make up for that.

“It will be criminal to have both our teams not qualifying for the tournament. We finished our preparations on Wednesday. Everything went well, and I believe that the boys are ready to put up a good fight,” he said.
