Forward, Thabang Sesinyi has returned home after failing to secure a move to the Middle East. Sesinyi nearly joined an unnamed Qatari club but the move did not materialise. The forward did not make enough CAF Champions League appearances to allow him to play in the Qatari league. Also, the Zebras' low FIFA rankings impeded the proposed move.

Sesinyi played some of his best football in the 2021-2022 season. He finished as the league's top goalscorer with 24 goals from the 30 rounds league. He also walked away with the Players' Player of the Season accolade for his exploits in front of goal. The 29-year-old was linked with Gaborone giants, Township Rollers and Gaborone United (GU). The local transfer window period will shut down in early October and Sesinyi has minimal time to explore his options. The forward was also linked with a move back to South Africa. H
