Seabo hails league competitiveness as boost for Zebras

The rising levels of competition in the FNB Premiership have been tipped to work wonders for Botswana football and the national team as well ahead of next month’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals in Morocco.

The assertion was made by Township Rollers’ assistant coach, Oarabile “Wilshere” Seabo, who added the league will produce competitive players.

“It is going to be a competitive one (season) and this is good for the Zebras, good for Botswana football,” he said after guiding Rollers to a dominant 4–0 victory over Santa Green over the weekend.

We have all seen the pictures and heard the stories of broken windows, unreliable water and electricity, topped by classrooms that are not fit for proper learning. The establishment of the Education Infrastructure and Management Company Ltd (EIMC) signals that authorities are finally ready to take this problem seriously. We must commend the government for this initiative....
