Notwane moved to the summit of the Debswana First Division South league table following their 1-0 victory over Matebejana on Saturday afternoon.

Thabang Ofitlhile’s strike was enough to hand former Premier League giants maximum points at the Holy Ghost Park. Toronto, as Notwane are affectionately called by their supporters, have now collected six points from their first two matches.

They kicked off their campaign against Black Rangers and registered a convincing 3-1 win a fortnight ago. They have now leapfrogged Mochudi Centre Chiefs from the top of the log standings.
