FRANCISTOWN: Newly elected Francistown Regional Football Association (FRAFA) chairperson, Carlos Motaung has promised that accountability will be the cornerstone of his leadership.

The former TAFIC chairperson was elected the leader of the controversy ridden region along with other members of his lobby group. Motaung’s victory was not an easy one as he had to shrug off attempts to prevent him from contesting.

He was initially vetted out of the candidate list by the Botswana Football Association's (BFA) electoral board. He then appealed the decision and succeeded. FRAFA is under the auspices of the BFA and is among the biggest regions in the country.
