While the first leg of the Botswana Netball Association (BONA) league is coming to an end, questions are being asked about the fate of the second leg scheduled for January 23 in Selebi-Phikwe.

The uneasiness is due to other clubs having not played some of their matches, which could disrupt the completion of the first round. When the league started last year, some clubs did not travel to Maun due to logistical challenges they shared with the National Executive Committee (NEC). Over the weekend, Notwane did not fulfil its fixture against Jwaneng.

According to information reaching Sport Monitor, the club had informed the zone about the challenges they faced especially the absence of players as the majority of them were students who had not returned from the festive season break.
